Prints $5 plus shipping
All of my prints are printed on Kodak Semi-gloss photo paper, with a photo quality printer and photo quality ink (they come out rather nice if I do say so myself) and I sign them. They are the size of a normal sheet of paper (8.5x11 or so) and usually have a bit of a while border for easy framing. You can request a print of anything in my gallery, but if it's another person's character I need their permission to sell it first. Also, fan art (due to copyright) I can not sell. sad

RULES
General
I always show the sketch to the commissioner to be approved. It is at this point that the commissioner can request changes, make sure details are correct, etc. If changes are needed, I will make the changes and (depending on the complexity of the changes) show the commissioner once more. If at this point the commissioner still wants large changes, there may be an extra charge. (Keep in mind that awaiting sketch approval will slow down the commission progress. HOWEVER if a commissioner wishes to NOT see the piece until it's done, they may request so, but then no chance for changes will be given. . . a final piece can't be changed.)(Please also note that the requested changes have to be within reason. I will not redraw an entire character without requiring a fee. We're talking about things such as the hairdo is a little off, you forgot to add _____, or the expression should be more menacing, etc)

Remember you are commissioning an artist for THEIR interpretation of YOUR character. We're not mind readers, so dont expect us to be able to perfectly represent your personal vision. Keep an open mind and be as specific as you feel you need to be at the START of the commission.

PLEASE don't ask me to "draw like [artist]" or "make it look like [artist]'s work." You're commissioning me, so I'm going to draw it as I would.

Understand my style, strengths, and weaknesses. Don't commission me expecting something other than the style/quality that you see in my gallery. (I do, however, encourage people to reference pieces in my gallery if they're looking for a specific style as my Linework/coloring style can sometimes fluctuate)

I will ship internationally, though extra shipping charges may apply.

Commissions are for your personal use only. They are not to be resold or copied in any way. All arts remain copyrighted to Kat Allen.
Payment
Paypal is preferred, though I will accept personal Checks or concealed cash (at your own risk, not recommended for anything over $10)

I will wait for payment in order to start the commission (as I've had many people drop out or fail to pay) Check will take the longest because they have to be mailed and then cashed by me to ensure the don't bounce

There are two payment options:
1)Pay in Full: Commissioner will pay full cost before commission can begin.
2)Pay by Half: Half of the total cost is to be paid before commission is started, second half will be paid after approval of the sketch.
I don't have a preferance other than full payment upfront is a more efficient and the commission will move along faster (dont have to wait for payments to come through)
(NOTE: This does NOT apply to Snail Mail payments. They have to be paid in full)

If for some reason the commissioner wishes to cancel the commission for any reason, it can only be done BEFORE THE APPROVAL OF THE SKETCH. If it is canceled before the sketch has been approved, money can be refunded according to the amount of work completed. (if I havent started at all, I can try for a full refund. If I've finished the sketch, only half the total cost will be refunded.) After the sketch is approved the payment is non-refundable.
(NOTE: This does NOT apply to Snail Mail payments. Snail Mail is NON REFUNDABLE! and hence not recommended!)
Pricing
Prices are Estimates. They may go up or down depending on complexity of the piece, and can also be negotiable.

Price estimates may change at any time. However, if you have ordered and confirmed a commission with me, the price will not change.

Un-drawn characters might cost a bit more (Aka if you only have a desc and no visual references, and I'll have to create the character look on my own)

Outside of traditional badges and ACEO's You MUST let me know if you expect the original to be sent to you! Shipping costs will have to be applied to the commission cost.
Con Badges
Please don't contact me a week before you leave for a con

Give the badge ample time to get finished and shipped.

Traditional badges can be laminated for a bit extra), but as far as clips and holders, I leave that up to the commissioner.

Digital Badges will be sent as a high res Digital File.
